What is Feng Shui?
Feng Shui, literally meaning wind and water, is the Ancient Chinese Art of Placement. Our environment has a direct impact on our quality of life. The first environment we live in is our mind, then our body, then our homes and daily spaces expanding across the globe beyond our visual and physical dimensions.
Our bodies are actually a direct reflection of the world we live in. We are made up of 72% water like our Mother Earth. We have oceans, lakes, rivers and streams of fluids flowing within carrying nutrients, flushing toxins, hydrating cells. These internal waterways are influenced by the same natural phenomena that affects the tides, forms glaciers, controls humidity, and on and on, of our external world.
We can learn so much by observing our environment, respecting the natural laws of the universe and living in alignment with the harmonic energies that stream us into being.
Life breath, Chi, Source Energy is like the wind. It is hidden and essential, critical and illusive, powerful and yielding. Within air, there is water and within water, there is air. This is Feng Shui, the harmonic balance of Yin and Yang, Faith and Manifestation, Heaven and Earth, Potential and Kinetic energies in dynamic partnership, powering the universe as the negative and positive charges of a battery are both necessary to operate a child's toy.
The essence of Feng Shui is the science of our natural world. It is. As much as we would like to defy the law of gravity, it is. Even still, we can fly. Anything is possible, as we live in an ever-expanding universe of potential.
The practice of Feng Shui is an Art. Over thousands of years different schools and techniques of Feng Shui have evolved, all sharing the common goal to harmonize with the environment - much like there are different schools of Martial Arts with their own unique styles all sharing the purpose of creating the ultimate warrior in mind, body and spirit. What can I expect from a Feng Shui consultation with Tamara?
Having a personalized consultation to improve the harmony and prosperity of your home, office or business environment starts at $175 for a single room office, $375 for homes and $500 for businesses.
- Tamara will have you think about your goals of the consultation and share them with her when she arrives.
- Tamara will use both traditional and progressive methods of Feng Shui to orient the environment to support you and your desired outcome.
- She will give you suggestions and timeframes for implementation.
You are recommended to take notes during the consultation and Tamara will also give a written report before she leaves. You are welcome to follow-up with questions for clarification. Consultations are entirely confidential. The more you are open to the process the more you will gain from it.
What can I expect from and after the process?
The process for most people is relieving. Much like the releasing of built-up pressure. The more you are able to let go and allow, the abundance of what you wish to create will flow in. Sometimes things in perception will get worse before they get better. When our intention is clear and our heart is genuine the unfolding events are the fastest way between where you are and where you want to go.
Some examples:
A single Mom struggling with debt, her relationship with her ex-husband, and living with the pressures of being an executive in a failing industry.
